    Doctor Who Premieres May 11th Worldwide!

    It’s finally time to join Ncuti Gatwa as The Doctor. Well, almost. We still have just under 2 months to wait for his first series to start. Today, the BBC has announced when Doctor Who will return to our screens. In an exciting announcement, we learnt that Doctor Who Premieres May 11th on both BBC iPlayer and Disney+ for worldwide viewers. Though, there is a twist. Doctor Who will now land at midnight with TWO episodes. However, that’s not all.

    For the first time ever, the Doctor will land with TWO episodes premiering on BBC iPlayer at midnight before arriving on BBC One later that day, right before the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final. At the same time, those outside of the UK can watch the Doctor and Ruby (Millie Gibson) on their epic adventures as the TARDIS is set to land on Disney+ where available.

    Viewers in the UK can now watch Doctor Who whenever and wherever they choose. For example, the option to stream at midnight on BBC iPlayer or tune in at primetime on Saturday nights on BBC One.

    Time and Adventures In Space for New Duo!

    The new season of Doctor Who Premieres May 11th and will see Ncuti Gatwa return as the Fifteenth Doctor alongside Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday. It comes after they made their highly acclaimed debut on Christmas Day in The Church on Ruby Road. In the upcoming series, audiences will see the Doctor and Ruby travel through time and space on adventures to unknown lands. Featuring the Regency era in England, outer space worlds, and the sixties! 

    This season will also see the return of Michelle Greenidge as Carla Sunday, Angela Wynter as Cherry Sunday and Anita Dobson as Mrs Flood, as well as featuring an array of special guest stars, including Jinkx MonsoonAneurin Barnard, Yasmin Finney, Jonathan GroffBonnie Langford, Jemma Redgrave, Lenny Rush and Indira Varma with more to be announced soon.

    Doctor Who Sets Sights For May 2024!

    The BBC is the exclusive home of Doctor Who in the UK. It premieres at 00:00 on Saturday, May 11th, on BBC iPlayer and will then air on BBC One that evening. Outside the UK, Doctor Who begins streaming on 10th May at 7:00 p.m. ET on Disney+ where available, giving audiences a simultaneous global launch. An episode will continue to drop on BBC iPlayer at 00:00 on Saturdays, followed by a primetime slot on BBC One each week following that.


    Doctor Who kicked off the new era on Christmas Day 2023. “The Church on Ruby Road” saw the debut of both Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson as The Doctor and Ruby Sunday. Doctor Who Premieres May 11th with a double episode bill on BBC iPlayer. Disney+ will be the exclusive home for new Doctor Who seasons outside the UK and Ireland.
